This Help page explains the functions and fields on the 'Contacts' page in the CRM.
Contacts
Displayed below are all registered contacts, sorted alphabetically. Choosing a letter will display all contacts with surnames starting with that letter. You can also browse the contacts by clicking the 'Next' button or the page numbers, both at the bottom of the page. You can find the sorting criteria listed below the tabs. The blue criteria are clickable. The list can be sorted by numerous ways:
Given name
- Sort contacts by given name
Surname
- Sort contacts by last name
City
- Sort contacts by city
The other criteria are not sorting options. This applies to:
Phone number
- Displays the (first listed) phone number.
Email address
- Displays the (first listed) email address. Click an email address to open your (native) email client. The email address which was clicked on is automatically filled out in the 'To' field.
Accounts
- This displays the Account which the Contact is linked to. Click an account name for more information about that Account.
Edit link
- Click on "edit" to edit the contact's details
Contact filters
The right side of the page allows you to search for contacts by specific features. Explanations for each attribute is displayed below:
Given name
- Finds contacts by given name
Surname
- Finds contacts by last name
Attached to Member
- Finds contacts linked to specific project members (is rarely used)
Account
- Finds contacts linked to a particular company of client
City
- Finds contacts by city
Country
- Finds contacts by country
Postal Code
- Finds contacts by postal code
Email address
- Finds contacts by email address
Phone number
- Finds contacts by phone number
Opted out
- Finds contacts by contacting option:
- - Phone
- - Mailing address
- - Email address
