Developer
The name Developer covers the generic Role that de graduate could fulfil. The graduate however has a Drupal specialization. A graduate Developer is capable of transforming wishes/problems into solutions in a Drupal implementation.
Could a Developer build a site
Of course. From day one we build routine in administering the Drupal framework. De developer finds its way blind-folded in the Drupal 6 en 7 administrator. He/she will be able to work with a selection of the most widely used modules.
Is a Developer a PHP Developer?
Possible. Because 2Value Drupal Developer is a specialization based on the PHP programming language. However: only few will be able to get a full understanding of Drupal in 4 or 5 weeks time. The developer is very well able to read the code. And van tell right from wrong, good from bad practice. The developer knows how codemanagement in GIT needs to be done and can perform this task on it's own. The developer knows when and how patches need to be installed and parts the framework need to be upgraded, etc.
Is a Developer a Designer?
No, however the Developer knows what tasks be delegated to Designers and what results Designers should deliver for further processing in Drupal.
Server setup configuration?
That is out of a developers laegue. 2Value uses specialized partners for that. And other system integrators follow their own guidelines. We also work with partners. These partners could also hire graduates after their training.
Over the years 2Value has developed an open source implementation and support method. Many system integrator and end-customers are happy to comply to the 2Value method. We teach trainees the most important facets of the 2Value method. This consists of the platform independent issues like contractmanagement, projectmanagement, agile en role based work, etc.
ASA Campus has access to students and graduates of universities that like to work and learn more. Every training ASA Campus selects 15 people that go through a selection process. We also give individual freelancers and sole proprietary holders the opportunity to do the training. And in some cases end customers have one of their workers join the training.
