Abstract
A Weekly session in Blockchain-lab (lab004) in A-lab Amsterdam.
Tuesday morning 10:00 AM 'Who dares?!'
An outsider comes to A-lab to present and discuss his or hers blockchain-approach. The available group of blockchain-lab expert question the presenter critically. And they offer their recommendations afterwards.
The goal is networking, quality improvement of ideas (the lab function!), etc
It is free, without payment!
What's in it for...
...the speaker - ambassador from outside
...the associate and member of Blockchain-lab
...the blockchain-lab
...outsiders
How it is done
Apart from a standardised preparation and work done in various roles and responsibilities the actual session is a pretty clean cut:
- 1. Room is sufficiently filled with prepared blockchain-experts and or experts on the topic of the presentation. Camera running if possible, Decision made about social media activity, someone or two people make notes, etc.
- 2. Presenter makes his or her plea, the status of the information exchanged is clear upfront/ Either disclosable or not. Expertise added from the expert-forum present is always open source (CC by SA) - max 15 minutes.
- 3. 'Why don't you use a database - phase'. "Grill, skin and fillet." - max. 30 minutes
- 4. Conclusions, next steps, advice, name dropping, url-flipping - max 15 minutes
- 5. After exactly 1 hrs the meeting is done and just half an hour later the writers of the recommendation finalize their words.
What is said and not said
The meeting is behind closed doors. Associates and members of Blockchain-lab have committed themselves to a non-disclosure to offer a trusted environment for the presenter to fully speak out about plans and their challenges in an early stage of developments.
But of course we would like to be able to speak out in the open about subjects and topics so speaker that allow this, will get preference.
