After an intense week of training in a classroom you (as a trainee-developer) know your whereabouts in every corner of the Magento framework. You will have your auxiliary environment tuned (IDE) for MET development. The 3 weeks right after the week of training will be devoted to a parttime project. You get to know the limits of your expertise in Magento. However your basis will be solid after a month of hard work. An investment in your future that will certainly pay off.

Repair a plane while flying

After two intense weeks of training in a classroom you (as a trainee-developer) could be allready be considered as an all-round usable on the most difficult technical aspects of Magento, cunningly avoiding booby traps in projects, and you consider it an absolute challenge to cope with an urgent issue in a running system that someone else has created. Or: "Repair a plane while flying."

After the internal project that succeeds the classroom training you will experience what you do - and do not know yet. By this time you will be conceptually very good and in terms of investment in your future you are well on track.
